Missional Communities

Jesus calls His followers to make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:18–20). That kind of formation doesn’t happen in isolation or only in large gatherings. It happens in smaller, committed communities where life is shared and discipleship is practiced.
When you come to an MC, you can expect a shared meal, prayer, and a Bible-centered discussion. These conversations aren’t lectures. They’re shaped by the gospel, honest conversation, and real-life application as we learn to follow Jesus together.
At New City, MCs are an essential part of how we make disciples. They are small groups that gather in homes throughout the city to share life and follow Jesus together in everyday rhythms. Through close relationships, Scripture, prayer, and shared practices, we grow in our knowledge of, love for, and obedience to Jesus.

Nope! MCs are open to everyone, including those who are exploring faith. There’s no pressure when you come—you can simply show up, observe, and take your time getting to know people.

Yes! We believe that spiritual formation is for every age, and we’d love to get to know your whole family. Some parents use childcare provided by the MC, while others keep their kids with them during discussion portions.
