We see God's goodness and love most clearly in His Son, Jesus. In Him, God has offered us the good gift of Himself. Through Him, we have received forgiveness of our sins, adoption into His family, and the promise through His Holy Spirit that He will dwell with us forever. Because of this, we can trust that He is always good, loves us, and desires what's best for us. All of this He has proven at the cross.

Our first parents, Adam and Eve, believed the serpent's lie that they would be like God if they ate the forbidden food. But why? They functionally believed that God did not love them, care for them or that God would provide for them. So, they took matters into their own hands, thinking they knew better than God. I don't think the root of my sin is much different.

Most Christians know and believe that corporate prayer is a vital aspect of our faith and that practicing it in the context of small groups (or missional communities) is important, but we may need some help knowing just how to get started.

“Is the band going to play a song I know?”
“Am I going to be the only one not singing?”
“Will others see that I don’t know this song?”

I know those thoughts and worries because I have been in those shoes!

We dream of seeing women transformed by the gospel, growing in discipleship to Jesus through His Word, and sent out to transform their homes, churches, city, and the world.

We are and will continue doing the best we can to protect your kids when they are in our care. But there is a giant piece to this plan of protecting our kids, and that is YOU, the parent.

In Matthew 4, Jesus is led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by Satan. What I never noticed before, was how Jesus’ response to Satan might change how I prepare to fight temptations in my own life.

For some, the Christian life is an anxious and lonely one. Their "church" experiences, family realities, or circumstances don't necessarily reflect what is true of them in Jesus.

When I finally agreed to take a look at the property, it was overwhelming, and I don’t mean in a good way. The building is huge and in its current layout it is one patient room after another after another after another. I didn’t even look at the whole building. It was too much and I couldn’t see any possibility for us there.

Relationships take time. They make us vulnerable to a myriad of dangers like rejection and pain. Finding those people that we connect with and building those lasting relationships is a struggle for so many of us in the world. Why should followers of Christ place a high value on relationships with other believers?

Are the youth in our church truly the future of the church? You may have heard before that the youth are the future of the church. But I don’t think that is actually true.
